Apple TV app arrives for Roku streaming players and Roku TV on 15 October 2019. Apple making sure Roku owners will be ready to stream Apple’s original programming like “See Dickinson”, “Truth be Told”, “For All Mankind” and others. Apple TV+ set to coming next month.
Apple TV app will be available from Roku’s Channel Store. The App is free download, only cost $4.99 per month for customers to directly subscribe to Apple TV plus, from within the app starting on November 1st.
It provides not only Apple TV Plus content, but also iTunes video library by authenticate users with their Apple ID. It also can access optional Apple TV Channel subscription for HBO, Starz and other premium networks, get personalized recommendations, and buy and rent more than 100,000 movies and TV shows from iTunes.
On most Roku products like Roku TV models, streaming sticks and streaming media players should be available to download the app. but unfortunately Roku warns that it will not supported by select older Roku models (A full list of supported product is here).
The App can be downloaded in the Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, and United States.
